Been coming here for almost 10 years now and always been treated with respect and kindness. Food isn't flashy or over the top but that doesn't mean it isn't perfect. It's a small quaint lil wholesome restaurant and wouldn't have it any other way. Best friend rice and egg rolls in town.
The food is awesome, but the restaurant inside looks like a storage room, and they offer inside seating. Boxes stackex ceiling high! The staff comes across rude each time I visit. It may be a language barrier, but their body language matches their tone. RUDE!
The food was delicious. They were not shy with the portion and they let you put gravy on the rice . I was satisfied... this is definitely a hole in the wall spot that is delicious
Better food than Swen and it’s cheaper, quicker, and has better portion sizes.. 100% go here!! It was only 9.89 for all this.
Chongwah was my first Chinese food experience when I was a child. I loved them then, and I love them now. I have never had a bad experience with them in the 25 years that I've eaten there. If your expecting high end cuisine, look elsewhere. If you want good, cheap, fast Chinese food, then you'll love these guys. I personally love the Hot and Spicy chicken. It's what I always get and I'm never disappointed. I love you guys and I hope you never go away!
Food is always great! Their fried rice is best plus the have shrimp sauce they dont charge and warm and a leg for or look at u like ur crazy! The honey chicken was very good. Love chongwah. Very sad to come home and see they are closed. This is my golden standard for Chinese food and living in Texas has been tough to find gems close to this locations flavor and service. Know you guys are loved and missed!
Tried this place for the first time today. My only negative is not trying it sooner! Got my order quickly; it was hot and fresh and correct. My food was delicious. I ordered a combo and one of my items was the hot and spicy chicken. It was so good! I will definitely be going back again!
